Loanplaced editorial process

How every Loanplaced guide gets written

Every article in the Loanplaced guides library moves through a five-stage editorial process before publication.

Stage 1

Topic selection

Topics come from three sources: questions borrowers actually ask advisors during placement calls, regulatory or market changes that affect Loanplaced's product panel, and gaps in existing personal-finance coverage that our credentialed team can uniquely fill.

Stage 2

Author assignment

Each topic is assigned to the advisor with the most direct expertise — CFP® for personal finance strategy, NMLS-licensed loan officer for tactical loan questions, CPA for business or tax matters, attorney for regulatory analysis.

Stage 3

Draft & source verification

Author drafts with primary-source citations for every factual claim (CFPB, FTC, FCRA, NMLS, IRS, Federal Reserve data). No secondary aggregators as sources.

Stage 4

Editorial review

Editor-in-chief reviews for clarity, factual accuracy, and E-E-A-T signals. A second credentialed advisor reviews for technical accuracy. Both sign off before publication.

Stage 5

Publication & re-verification

Article publishes with byline, credentials, and "last verified" date. Every article is re-verified on a 90-day cycle. Corrections handled openly via [email protected].

Ongoing

Reader feedback loop

Loanplaced tracks which articles borrowers reference during advisor calls. Highly-referenced articles get more frequent updates. Underused articles get retired.
